    Changes: 

    The tryouts for the 13s are at 8:00 am on the 25th at Cahill. 

    The tryouts for the 14s is 9:00 am on the 25th at Cahill.

    Jr . Dukes players may not wear Dukes gear (jerseys or hats) to tryouts. 

    The Whitefish Bay Jr. Dukes Baseball Club will be holding player evaluations for the 2021-22 baseball season on Sunday, July 25th and Sunday, August 1st.  Players must attend only one of the two dates.  Each player must register in advance of tryouts at: Registration Link - https://bit.ly/2021JBDRegistration

    There is no fee to try out.

    Evaluation times and location 

    U9    3rd Grade - 9:30am - Craig Counsell Park  (6300 N. Lydell Avenue, Whitefish Bay) 

    U10    4th Grade - 10:30am - Craig Counsell Park  (6300 N. Lydell Avenue, Whitefish Bay)

    U11    5th Grade - 11:15am - Craig Counsell Park  (6300 N. Lydell Avenue, Whitefish Bay)

    U12    6th Grade - 12:00pm - Craig Counsell Park  (6300 N. Lydell Avenue, Whitefish Bay)

    Jr. Dukes Teams

    3rd grade – 8th grade.  We'll have two teams at each grade (an “A” Blue team and a “B” White team) with 12 players per team

    In order to be eligible to play Jr. Dukes baseball, each player must either live in Whitefish Bay or go to public or private school in Whitefish Bay.  Each U9 – U12 player must play in Whitefish Bay Little League.  In order to play in WFBLL, 

    The Jr. Dukes Baseball Club was formed as a feeder program for Whitefish Bay High School baseball, and to provide Whitefish Bay Little League players the opportunity for external competition in addition to little league.  Jr. Dukes provides additional opportunities to develop and enhance each player’s individual skill level.   Jr. Dukes has teams at each grade level from 3rd grade to 8th grade.  The 3rd grade through 6th grade teams will participate in five tournaments. The 7th and 8th grade teams will participate in six tournaments as well as the Wisconsin State Youth Baseball League.  In addition to tournaments, the players will have regularly scheduled practices throughout the year, including the winter at the Jr. Dukes indoor facility.

    Mission Statement

    The Whitefish Bay Jr. Dukes Baseball Club (herein known as Jr. Dukes Baseball) will promote the sport of baseball in the Village of Whitefish Bay by providing opportunities to play baseball in tournament form for all players’ grades 3 through 8.  To be eligible to play for the Whitefish Bay Jr. Dukes Baseball Club, you must either live in Whitefish Bay or attend school in Whitefish Bay.  For players in third through sixth grade, you must also participate in Whitefish Bay Little League.   These opportunities are designed to help develop the physical, mental, emotional, and social needs of our players by participation in the sport of baseball. The primary focus is that each player has the possibility to improve his/her skill development and knowledge while enjoying the competitive spirit of the game.
